Are you friends with published authors?

Are you friends with any authors who have books that have been published? I'm friends with a few and also know some editors. Finding a good editor is probably a great thing you can do if you're looking to be published and want to be taken seriously. Then find a decent publishing company and after that consider getting a book trailer video created.

I only know one person who is an actual published author.

I don't know how he got his book published. I have read his book and I enjoyed it. I even got him to autograph my copy of the book for me.

My hubby has a friend that is an author as well. I purchased and read his book as well. Waiting for him to write the rest of the books in that series...

I unfortunately don't know of any published authors. I have read of some members in various forums who have had theirs published but I don't know them personally.

I don't know anyone who published a book.

I have a co-worker who has published a few books. Not sure how successful he is though because I rarely see him make a sale in person when he has the chance.
